The Licensed Physical Therapist(PT) evaluates patients and prescribes a treatment program, with physician approval for all patients assigned to him/her. The PT further adjusts the program within constraints and confers with the physician as needed. He/she documents treatment, progress, and makes suggestions toward further treatment. In the outpatient arena the physical therapist is responsible for developing an understanding of the regulations that govern the provision of Rehabilitation set forth by the varying third-party payors in this region. He/She also is responsible for the supervision of the PT Tech assigned to his/her team and/or an LPTA assigned to that team.
Graduate of an accredited physical therapy college program. Must have active and valid physical therapy license.
