- Perform defined work routines, using carious dietary utensils, supplies and equipment, as assigned by the Manager. Work routines may include dishwashing, pot and pan washing and cleaning. Work on tray line as assigned according to departmental guidelines. Ensure that condiments are placed on trays according to special diet guidelines. Inform manager of supply and equipment needs. Report any damaged equipment including loose fixtures, flooring, tile, etc. to the manager upon discovery. Report any unsafe or malfunctioning equipment upon discovery. Follow all departmental and facility safety guidelines to the Supervisor or manager. Maintain dishwasher temperatures and sanitizer records. Follows established Infection Control and Standard Precautions policies and procedures when performing daily tasks. Ensures that the work area is maintained in a clean and safe manner. Disposes of food and waste in accordance with established policies. Performs other duties as deemed necessary and appropriate or as directed by the manager. Develops and maintains a good working rapport with other departments within the facility to assure that daily activities can be performed without interruption.
