The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for maintaining and managing all inventory, and/or products, including buy/sell items.
Maintains inventory operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
Confirms raw materials and work orders to original purchase orders.
Uses Excel to decipher lot numbers.
Prints and completes lot cards.
Pulls product per lot card.
Verifies items received by checking identifying information of items; inspecting condition of items; comparing count/measure of items to purchase order and packing list.
Maintains inventory by marking and placing items in stock.
Documents inventory by recording additions, disbursements, adjustments, losses, and removals of items.
Keeps inventory available by inspecting items for wear and defects.
Prepares monthly inventory reports by collecting and analyzing information on stock usage.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Assist in the development and Implementation of inventory control system through the use of Kanbans of lean methods.
