Our clients present events such as trade shows and exhibits, concerts, festivals, sporting and political events, and corporate meetings. We also, design, sell and install AV and lighting systems and equipment. The Operations Supervisor will have the overall responsibility of creating, managing, and producing the various events. Events will incorporate such things as erection of the stage as well as the installation of sound, lighting and video equipment working with the event sponsor's team.
The Operations Supervisor will be required to be hands on and comfortable with event production equipment. This person will supervise the Production Technicians from selection of and transportation of the equipment from our warehouse to the production itself to the return of the equipment. This person must be able to work with other team members in a supervisory and motivational capacity. Safety of our team members, clients' personnel and attendees of the events is paramount.
The Operations Supervisor will be required to utilize the asset management system within our warehouse and update our asset tracking database system to insure inventory integrity. This person will also prepare quotations and client presentations to help secure new projects. This person is expected to have a grasp of project management concepts and workflow. Computer competence is required with specific training on our software to be provided.
This person is expected to provide the proper balance between our clients creative needs and the company's profitability.
Our company services a wide variety of markets focused on staged events. This can range from small churches to large sporting or community events with multiple stages. While much of what we do is in our region we have jobs that take us across the country working with entertainers and their troupe to set the stage with sound and light equipment.
