Administrative Office Support Associate
The Administrative Office Support Associate will answer directly to the President serving the college as Manager of the Administrative Office Function. The position will oversee the day-to-day operations of the administrative offices, primarily responsible for student and employee records. Serves the college as manager of the Human Resource Function assisting faculty and staff with benefits. The Administrative Office Support Associate shall be responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:
Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) Reporting including balancing student attendance hours
Maintaining Student Information Management System (Banner) utilities and TBR report modules
TBR Quarterly Contracts Report
All Employment Contracts for the college including RODP (Distance Education) Faculty
RODP (Distance Education) Revenue and Expenditure Reports Faculty and Staff Annual and Sick Leave hours maintenance
Credit Card and Deposit Monthly Reports, Daily Bank Deposits Student Registration
Process Student Graduation and Drops, prepare Transcripts, Certificates and Diplomas
Prepare institutional travel claims
Maintain Student Records including student placement and follow-up plan information
High School Diploma or GED minimum, graduation from a postsecondary training program or equivalent a plus. Must have at least 3 years work experience in an office setting.
Knowledge of modern office practices, procedures, and equipment.
Proficient with computerized data entry and software, MS-Office, etc.
Ability to multi-task with attention to details and accuracy.
Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with staff, faculty, administration and the public.
Must be flexible, reliable, and self-motivated.
Ability to communicate with applicants and explain programs in a clear and concise manner.
Willingness to develop new skills and commit to remaining current in the field.
Computer Information Technology Instructor
The Computer Information Technology Instructor position is responsible for individualized comprehensive instruction of the Computer Information Technology program. Other duties include coordinating curriculum updates, maintaining student records, student recruitment, placement and follow-up of program graduates. Performs related work and other duties as assigned.
Associate Degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred in Computer Science/Information Technology.
Prefer current and relevant certifications such as A+, Network+, Security+, and Microsoft.
Have a minimum of three (3) years successful work experience in networking and management information fields.
Have a strong, hands-on technical background in computer repair, replacement and networking, and cabling, Windows Server 20012/16, Windows 8/10, and Office 2016. Have documented experience as a Network Administrator.
Be willing to learn and use individualized instructional techniques. Must have the ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal working relationship with students, faculty, staff, and the general-public.
Ability to teach and instruct all aspects of Computer Information Technology.
Considerable working knowledge of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, WAN and LAN technologies
Salary commensurate with experience, education and Tennessee Board of Regents compensation plan.
