Maintain regular communication with vendor representatives, primary end users, and peers. • Engages other teams in completing work efforts • Ability to facilitate meetings. • Understands end-user workflows and processes. • Prioritize and implement requested changes to the system(s). • Work with end user departments in performing in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical requirements for the implementation of new applications, systems, major enhancements, and required maintenance. • Works closely with other resources on integration points across applications and technical environments. • Review and test updates and major enhancements to system(s) as well as new applications. • Create and execute test plans/scripts and maintain accuracy while keeping content current. • Follow established department policies and procedures including change control processes for the system. • Basic understanding of ITIL processes with regard to build enhancement, and maintenance of application systems. • Troubleshoot problems and questions from end users recommending and implementing corrective actions or solutions. • Maintains comprehensive and accurate build, support and troubleshooting documentation for applications, databases, master files and batch jobs. • Ability to identify root causes and other areas of improvement. • Provides and receives cross-training to ensure backup support for applicable applications. • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, maintaining defined timelines, ticket management, and an up to date status in tracking system. • Participates in project estimation process, helping to develop project timelines and work resource estimates. • Ability to work alone with some direction. • Assist with onboarding and coaching/mentoring junior staff. • Other duties as assigned.
BLS is required for any RN, LPN, PCT, Patient Transporter or other direct patient care provider. Emergency Department, Intensive Care Units, PACU, Medical Emergency Team and Anesthesia require ACLS. Pediatrics, SICU, Emergency Department and Medical Emergency Team also require PALS.
