Works under general supervision and according to defined policies and procedures and established schedules in performing a variety of duties and operating various pieces of equipment associated with patient meal service. Prepares basic food items, readies trayline assembly for meal service, portions and serves food and loads and operates dish machine. Adheres to standards of production, safety, sanitation, infection control and maintains equipment and work areas in a clean and sanitary condition.
High School Diploma preferred.
CPR is required for any RN, LPN, PCT, Patient Transporter or other direct patient care provider. Emergency Department, Intensive Care Units, PACU, Medical Emergency Team and Anesthesia require ACLS. Pediatrics, SICU, Emergency Department and Medical Emergency Team also require PALS.
